Our puppy just turned 7 weeks. Would you do the 3 days longer, then give them more freedom from there? Also, before I saw your video, I gave our puppy more freedom than he should have had. He peed on the floor, but poops outside. Should we go back to square one and do the 3 day/no freedom part of training?

I like saying "empty" or potty is okay while dog is peeing or pooping.

I'm gunna get a husky puppy and we r gunna get a large crate but we r gunna use a divider. Should the dog bed have the same dimensions as the crate since I'm Gunna have a divider in it?

You don't let puppies jump on you and bite your fingers. Then your not pack leader anymore allowing that. And they can get out control as they get older with acts you allow them to act. You give her a chew toy or something for her to allow to chew.

I really enjoyed this video. Thanks so much for your tips. We've had our dog over a month so we missed the 3day period. He pretty much goes outside but we've had a few accidents in the past month but I think our dog is doing great

I know this video is 3 years old but I just got a rat-cha pup and she's 7 months old. The people I got her from let her pee in the house and never potty trained her. What's the best way for me to train her? Is it okay to do what you did to train her?
